For every less severe tooth pain, here are 11 home treatments that could help:
- Clove Oil
Rich in eugenol, an anesthetic and antiseptic substance, clove oil is able to reduce gum pain and kill off bacteria.
Prepare a cocktail of 1 tsp. coconut oil and 2-3 drops of clove oil. Place liquid on the area and let it act for several minutes. Remove cotton ball when the area begins to stiffen and be careful not to swallow the clove oil.
As an option, you can chew a few cloves where the pain is stronger. Afterwards, rinse well and remove cloves.
